Are you tired of putting maximum effort into curling your hair and still getting poor looking results? Maybe the problem is not in your technique but with your curling iron. The Beachwaver Pro Curling Iron may just be the answer you are looking for when it comes to making long-lasting curls that you are happy with. Let’s take a closer look at the Beachwaver Pro Curling Iron and see why it’s so highly rated by salon professionals that use it.
Taking a Quick Look at the Beachwaver Pro Curling Iron
Here is a quick look at the good and bad characteristics of this professional quality curling iron:
Pros:
- Button activated dual directional use
- 1” barrel diameter
- Custom clamping mechanism
- Gold powder/Tourmaline infusion
- 310F – 450F working temperature
- Ready to use in 30 seconds
Cons:
- No dual voltage capability
- Dual direction activation button is not always in a location where it’s easy to press
- Performance and Versatility
This is a great dual directional barrel curling iron which means it can easily be used no matter what your dominant hand is or what side of your head you are curling your hair on. With just a simple press of a button, you can easily curl your hair around the barrel in the desired direction you need it to go.
The Beachwaver Pro Curling Iron operates at a temperature between 310F – 450F (digitally controlled). That makes it useful on just about any type of hair including hair that is coarse or thick. Its custom clamp is also designed in a way that does not let it easily kink your hair as you are using it. The barrel is a very versatile 1-inch size too.
One of the best things about the Beachwaver Pro Curling Iron is that it heats up and is ready to use in a little over 30 seconds. It also has tourmaline and gold powder infusion so it heats up very evenly throughout the entire barrel as you use it.
Safety and Convenience
There is much to like about this curling iron as far as safety and convenience go. It has a nice auto-shutoff mechanism that kicks in after 30 seconds of non-use and the handle is designed so you do not get close to the hot parts of the curling iron.
The current temperature of this heating iron is nicely displayed in a backlit digital readout and its generous 9-foot long power cord gives you a lot of freedom of movement as you use it.
Hair Type the Beachwaver Pro Curling Iron is Best Used On
This is a very versatile curling iron as was mentioned and it really does work well on all hair types. With its high-end temperature of 450 degrees Fahrenheit, you will especially like it if you have very coarse or thick hair.
On the flip side, its lowest heat setting of 310 degrees Fahrenheit may still be too hot for some people with very sensitive fine or thin hair.
Customer Support and Potential Concerns with this Curling Iron
Beachwaver does stand behind the curling irons they make for a period of one full year. There is one stipulation though and that is you have to register your curling iron with them within 30 days of purchase. There is also a 30-day return policy from the date of purchase on any unused Beachwaver Pro Curling Iron.
There were a couple of things that we were less than thrilled with about this product. One of them is the fact it is not good to buy as a travel dryer for overseas because it has no dual voltage capability. The other concern is that if the curling iron ends up facing the wrong direction as you are using it then it can be hard to activate.
Some Final Thoughts on the Beachwaver Pro Curling Iron
Was the Beachwaver Pro Curling Iron perfect? Absolutely not, but there were no major deal breakers with the things we did not particularly like about it. Its dual directional barrel design is a great feature and I like the fact it can get as hot as 450 degrees Fahrenheit too. The easy to set digital temperature was another nice aspect with it and the fact it’s ready to use in 30 seconds is a huge timesaver.
Overall I would have to say it’s definitely worth considering the Beachwaver Pro Curling Iron for purchase. Especially if you are a salon professional or like to quickly curl your hair at home and have it still turn out looking good.
